People judge you by your appearance. Your appearance is your first impression. You can’t blame them. When you don’t know someone, you can only judge them by their external appearance. It’s natural that one makes assumptions about others solely by their appearance. So if you don’t take care of your appearance, you’ve lost that chance to make a good first impression. Here are the Do’s and Don’t’s.
1. Forget to brush your teeth: OK, you will have bad breath if you don’t brush. This is *the* cardinal sin. It’s the most repulsive. I hate people with bad breath and especially when they try to talk to me. Don’t be so freaking lazy alright? Please brush as much as practical and feasible. And drink a glass of water after your meal. It washes away the food debris after your meal. The piece of vegetable that was stuck on your tooth is just plain embarrassing.
2. Wash your hair: You should, everyday please. If you don’t, the grease from you scalp may also cause bad odor. Especially in the summer.
3. Clean your nostrils: People look you in the face when they talk to you. Your nostrils are in the center of your face. Clean it! Otherwise no one will talk to you.
4. Your nails: You’re a man, right? Don’t grow your nails. Long nails tend to harbor dirt and it looks bad too.
5. Your ears: I once saw a person with crusty stuff (dead skin mixed with sweat or grease or wax from his ears) in his ears. That was disgusting. Please clean.
